ADV.副詞：

Either:也 / Neither:也不

Ex: I didn’t get enough food to eat, and you didn’t either.
= I didn’t get enough food to eat, and neither did you.
我並沒有拿到足夠的食物，而你也是。
Ex: Jack is not stupid. I’m not, either.
= Jack is not stupid. Neither am I.
Jack並不笨，而我也不笨。

CONJ. 連接詞

Either…or : 或者  /Neither…nor : 既不…也不

Ex:Amy will contact you either today or tomorrow.

Amy今天或明天會聯絡你

Ex:Jason neither drinks nor smokes.

Jason既不抽菸也不喝酒。

PRON. 代名詞:

Either: (兩者)其一/ Neither (兩者）皆不

Ex: Either of us needs to wash the dishes.

我們之中有個人得洗碗。

Ex: Neither of us went to the concert.

我們兩個都沒有去參加音樂會。

ADJ. 形容詞:

Either: (兩者)其一 or(兩者)都 / Neither (兩者）皆不

Ex:There are trees on either side of the river.
